Iconic and much-loved Australian home and food storage solutions brand, Decor, has been designing high quality household products since 1958, but in 2023, they open the lid on a new era, launching their new brand campaign with the help of full-service independent agency, Noisy Beast.
Decor has produced over 500 products across its 65-year history; products that have resulted in obtaining over 300 design awards. Now the brand wants Australians to know that their products can do more than just store last night’s leftovers. Noisy Beast was appointed by Decor in June last year, working across creative, media & digital, to support in achieving the brand’s future growth ambitions.
The campaign, titled ‘Designed for Life’, shows a variety of Decor products being used in unique and humorous ways, emphasising that the storage containers have countless, multipurpose uses in everyday life. The spots include a quick-thinking backyard batter protecting himself in case of a rogue bowl, a dancing robot that’s decked-out in Decor, and the iconic red rice cooker as the perfect guide for a bowl haircut. The campaign rollouts across out-of-home, digital, social media and retail activity.
David Brown, managing director and partner of Noisy Beast said, “Our purpose has always been to give brands a bigger voice, so we’re thrilled to be able to bring on Decor as a new client and to be the agency that helps put this household name back at the forefront of Australian’s minds. Our integrated offering has seen us involved across the entire process. Having these services under the one roof has proved beneficial to all.”
Head of marketing at Decor, Catherine Patton, said, “As we enter a new chapter of growth and development at Decor, we wanted to work with an agency that would help showcase our commitment to designing innovative and functional products for families. We knew that the team at Noisy Beast would support us as we execute and reach our goals because we share an aligned vision for the future.”
“For more than 60 years, Decor has always been about bringing to life ideas that transform how we think of home and food storage solutions. Now we get to show Australia how versatile our products are and inspire new ways to use them.”
The ‘Designed for Life’ brand campaign rolls out from February 2023 and will feature six and 15-second spots across BVOD, YouTube and Paid Social; large format & retail out-of-home; and retailer activity.
